Sahl AI Developer Documentation¶
Sahl AI listens to the consultation, writes the clinical note and codes it: ICD-10 diagnoses, medications, orders, allergies and examination findings. These guides show EHR and HIS teams how to put that inside their clinical workflow.
Integration paths¶
-
Embedded iframe
Host the Sahl AI panel inside your EHR screen. Sahl handles audio capture, note generation and codification, then posts the results back to your page.
-
Streaming API
Build your own UI. Stream consultation audio over a WebSocket and receive a live transcript and a structured clinical note.
-
Authentication
Exchange integration credentials for an access token, or sign short-lived JWT assertions with your own private key.
-
Support
Staging credentials, summary templates and help from the integration team.
What you get back¶
| Output | Description |

| Clinical note | Structured sections such as Chief Complaint, History of Present Illness, Examination, Assessment and Plan. The template defines which sections appear. |
| Diagnoses | Principal and additional diagnoses with ICD-10 codes. |
| Medications | Drug, dose, route, frequency and duration, matched to your formulary codes where a master list has been loaded. |
| Orders | Laboratory, radiology and procedure orders, matched to your order catalogue. |
| Allergies and examination | Allergies and physical examination findings, structured and coded. |
