Notable changes to the integration surface and to this documentation.

November 2026

  • New documentation site. The documentation has been rewritten for the current platform: authentication, the embedded panel and the streaming API.
  • Secure launch modes: /iframe-secure and /jwt-auth-secure deliver credentials with postMessage instead of the URL. They are now the recommended launch modes.
  • age is in days: send the patient's age as a whole number of days, calculated from the date of birth. See Launch parameters.
  • Teleconsultation audio: add display-capture to the iframe allow attribute to capture the remote patient's audio.
  • Streaming API: documented ping/pong keepalive, ack delivery guarantees, reconnect with encounter_id, and task_status.status.

Legacy endpoints

The legacy endpoints /note/generate and /note/normalize, and the previous WebSocket host, are no longer documented and should not be used for new integrations. If your integration still uses them, contact integrations@sahl.ai to plan the move.
